Conceived as a prime riverside retreat just a stone's throw from the historic town of Kampot, Cambodia, the development is set to appeal to the discerning few.

With a mission to offer premium experiences in the area, it needs to stand out in its presentation in order to invite guests to enjoy its offerings and services. Landform was invited to develop a complete brand identity system to give the development its own unique presence.

A name is one, if not the most important aspect of a brand. A few names were proposed and shortlisted in the process. Inspired by its surroundings, the name "SARITA" was chosen. It means "river" or "stream" in Sanskrit. It was also a reminder about something close and personal to the client.

Landform developed the Sarita brandmark as it reminiscent of both the geographical contours of a bend in the Praek Tuek Chhu river, as well as a thumbprint, hinting at the personalised stay experience the brand promises and its waterside appeal. This was paired with a slim and contemporary typeface for a sophisticated sensibility.

The brand identity was created and expanded with unique color schemes, typography, secondary graphics pattern to photography direction to further distinguish its presence.

The design applied to various touchpoints to be used in the company business and day-to-day operations. These applications include templates for marketing collateral, livery, stationery, place settings, in-room paraphernalia, toiletries, and selected merchandise items. An interior moodboard and visual style guide were also assembled to support a more holistic guest stay experience.
